Glenroy College’s top junior students have been recognised for their outstanding efforts despite the challenges of 2021.

The 28 students from Years 7, 8 and 9 received the awards for excellent work during the long stretches of remote learning this year.

Junior School leader Andrew Lewis said the students had all shown an incredible commitment to their learning, despite the challenges of Covid-19 restrictions and extended lockdowns.

“Remote learning has been hard for everyone but these 28 students were engaged, they logged onto their classes and they did everything their teachers asked of them. Not only that, but they did it to incredibly high standards,” Mr Lewis said.

“Their teachers are proud of them, their families should be proud of them and – most of all – they should be very proud of themselves.”
