After school cooking classes for families have started at Glenroy College – and it’s not too late to join the free food-fuelled fun!

The popular cooking workshops are held in the College’s food technology kitchen on Mondays after school. So far families have learnt to make rice paper rolls and a delicious and easy pasta sauce, all under the expert tuition of cooking whizzes from Foodbank Victoria.

Learn to cook and take home free groceries

The free program is funded by the Department of Education and Training. There is no cost for Glenroy College families who want to take part – just delicious free food, the chance to meet other Glenroy College families, learn some new culinary skills and have plenty of fun!

There are still some spots available for families who’d like to join the fun. And the best bit? Every family gets to take home a box at the end of each weekly cooking session crammed with groceries, easy recipes and fresh ingredients to make more meals together at home. And did we mention it’s all FREE!
